im going to reinstall panther (because of problems) but am just wondering what it should be running at so i can do a comparison after the reinstall.

the other day safari had 640mb of disk usage!

what should be the normal?

usually will have 1-2 pages open at same time.

Do you have Autofill on? Autofill > Others can take space.

Try editing those down, empty your cache and your flavicons. Quit Safari and reopen. See what the difference is.
