I received a callf rom Apple last night. My caller ID had shown they had been calling the last few days 1-2 times a day while I was at work.
Last night I answer the phone and was asked by Chris if there was anything he could do to help me in my purchse of the Powerbook 15.2 in my basket at apple.com.
There were also additional savings I could get.
I replied, other than Educational pricing, free iPod Mini and Free printer what additional savings are there...
Well thats it.
But would I go ahead with the purchase tonight.
I said I was waiting to see if there was an update to the Powerbook line before I started school and I was waiting till the last minute to purchase it.
He LAUGHED, ok chuckled at me..
I held my cool and he asked gain if I wanted the Powerbook. I said no, and I said Good Night and hung up.
I understand he's got a job to do, but to laugh at me and my reasonings to delay the purchase.
But why should i plunk down my payola and get an outdated notebook.
When just maybe there will be an update before I start Grad School in Sept.
If not then I'll buy then.
Since I'll be a switcher, my 1st OS X computer, I may settlle for the new iBook upgrade if that happens first.
