damn, i just got my new 1gb memory stick for my new 12" pb and noticed that the label on it says "ddr" not "ddr2". i am assuming that there is a difference, which means i may have gotten the wrong type
this is what i bought: http://www.memorysuppliers.com/sa1gbpc33200.html

Macs have not begun to use DDR2 yet, so if you have DDR, you are fine The memory module you linked to is exactly what you need.

The specs. look right. I don't think there should be a problem. You can check the specs. against the ones on apple's support site to be sure. Hope this helps.

You got the correct memory. If you had gotten DDR2, it wouldn't even fit because the keying is different.
