I have a G4 466 and a G3 iBook 800. I have some files on my iBook that I need to transfer to my G4. What is the easiest way to do this? It may sound like a dumb question but I'm really not sure. Can I connect them by USB or do I need to use a firewire? Previously, I have burnt CD's when I needed to transfer info or emailed if the files were small. Thanks.

Look up "target disk mode" for what's probably the best way for occasional file transfers. It uses firewire-but it's really quick.
