Hi guys. I was wondering how much memory my Rev A 17" Powerbook can use. I thought it was only 1Gb but have seen 2Gb on some sites, so I'm not sure anymore.
I was also wondering if I could see a complete list of memories that will work with the before mentioned laptop.
At the time that machine was made, there were only 512 mb chips available, and the machine has 2 slots, hence the limitation in the literature. Now though, you can get 1GB sticks, so it'll take 2, and the OS will address it no prob.
