I have a Al 1,25 PB and 10.4.2 seems to have disabled my keyboard backlight. Is this an issue in this upgrade? What can I do to get it back? I have all preferences set properly, Automatic Brightness in Displays and Illuminate Back Light in Low Light Conditions. Note: I set preference and noticed the Illuminate in Low Light was de-selected. I selected and restarted to see if I had recovered functionality. While writing this post I I checked the preferences for reference and noticed Illuminate in Low Light de-selected again. Sensors work because when I cover the speakers the screen dims. I will post here restart and post back.

Issue resolved by hitting operator upside head with 2x4. F10 increases backlight brightness.
Under Keyboard and mouse I had selected key functionality button thinking the opposite of what the selection intends, disabling the F1 - F12 keys.
