Hi all,
I have this problem which my combo drive does not take in cds or dvds.

Its the same problem as the one described in the first post. [Unfortunately no solutions worked]

The drive appears jammed like a disk is inside. Today i tried forcing in disk it. I was able to read the disk. I ejected the disk. and 1/2 inch of the disk came out.. an di have to pull it out by hand.

Any one knows wut is wong any solution?

I can't tell you what is wrong with the drive, but I can tell you that it is never a good idea to force anything when it comes to computers...

If it wasn't dead before you inserted that CD, it's certainly toast now.
