I can't take it anymore!

I spilled on my PB in March, and sent it into Safeware in June. I got it back over a month ago, and it still wasn't fixed. I then went through Apple, and this is how it went:

First Time: It came back after two days, "repaired."
Second Time: I realized that the screen didn't close properly. It came back after a week and a half, "repaired."
Third Time: The screen wasn't installed properly. It was fixed in-store.
Fourth Time: I realized that the keyboard wasn't installed properly. I waited a week for a replacement keyboard to come it.
Fifth Time: While waiting for the part, I realized that the edge of the PowerBook was creaking, because something wasn't installed properly. The mouse was also making strange noises. I left the computer with them, hoping that the keyboard fix would correct everything.

I just got a call from them, saying that the keyboard fix didn't correct everything. They are going to replace the bottom part of the case.

Well, I only have three more weeks before going back to the college, so if this last repair isn't perfect, I'm totally screwed.

I'm on the verge of a damned boycott (not that it would accomplish anything). Holy crap.

Edit: I've calmed down a bit. Let's just hope they do it right.

why dont you just ask them to give you a replacement and just do a firewire transfer of the files on the old powerbook to the new one. they are doing horrible service and you obviously need it.

Why on earth would they give me a replacement when these are just minor issues in their eyes?

In any case, I'm sending it back this last time, and they seem very confident that everything will be dealt with. If not, I'll demand a replacement, as I won't have a choice: I need my PowerBook fully functional in exactly three weeks.

What's your experience with safeware? I'm considering getting safeware as opposed to applecare for a used ibook. Is that not necessarily the best thing to do?
