Hello all, I have a question about the pcmcia card slot on my PB Titanium 500Mhz. I have a AirPort Card installed inside, now does that make it so I can not use the pcmcia slot on my PB, I need to get a memory card reader and want to get a pcmcia one.

Thanks

No. Airport card goes in the Airport slot. PCMCIA card (now known as PC card) goes in the PC card slot. They don't affect one another.

Unless you use a 3rd party wireless card for better reception!

If you put a 3rd party wireless card in the PMCIA slot, you'll be amazed at the range, especially in the first gen Ti which had absolutely dismal wireless range. It's night and day. If you know someone who has one, borrow it and you'll see what I mean. You don't have to delete the internal card, you use the "network ports configuration" in the Network Pref panel to activate one or the other. In my former Ti-400, I set up one location with the internal card and one with the pc-card for testing purposes, and then eventually gave the internal card to a better-deserving iBook 14".

when you need to use the memory card reader, you simply eject the wireless pc-card.
