I hav used a pc all my life and i have some questions, i looked at all apple laptops and what does a 1.33 ghz g4 processor translate to in pc language ?(b/c i know it isnt the same as a 1.33 ghz pc one) Also only the most expensive laptop had a 128 mb graphics card, and to play americas army w/o lag you need a 64 or above on a pc, now i want the 999 ibook and it has a 32mb one, does this mean something different than a 32mb one on a pc, b/c i played around w/the ibook i want today at a comp store and the whole display looked to have better graphics than a pc could ever, and the game looked pretty good to, like does some other hardware help the graphics card during gameplay or something ? Help me ! i am but a confused pc person who wants a mac, ANY info would be great !!!!!!!!!!

There is no exact formula for converting speeds between different types of processors. I would suggest that you determine what your needs are, and then figure out what computers in your budget suit those needs.

By the sounds of it, you want to play games, If you look at the requirements for America's Army it is:

# 1.25GHz G4 Processor
# 512 megs of RAM
# 1 gigabyte of hard drive space
# GeForce4 or Radeon 8500.

The iBook suffices on all counts.

No, 32MB of video RAM is the same on either a Mac or a PC (i.e. it's meager)
