I just dropped my powerbook. The good news is that everything seems to be working OK. The bad news is that I have a big dent in the corner. Also, it now wobbles on a flat surface - very annoying.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation? If so, I was wondering what my options are at this point. I realize this wont be covered by warranty, but will my local Apple Store be able to offer repair at my cost? Any idea how much for replacing bottom casing? Can they check to make sure everything is OK? Also, I've heard rumors that dropping your PB will void the warranty - is this true? I dont want to bring it in and make things worse.

Thanks.

Count your lucky stars that it still works. Forget about warranty repair. Learn to live with a dented, wobbly Powerbook. Besides, chicks love scars.
