Apple is in the process of switching to Intel processors. If you have ever heard the term "WinTel", well, MacTell is the Apple equivilant. Are you a new Mac user?

You will get plenty of usage and enjoyment out of your new 17" PowerBook, so just ignore the "ooh you shoulda waited, yo" stuff you'll inevitably hear.

There's going to be a Mactel sometime between today and June 2006. Your guess is as good as mine as to when the first mactel will ship. I was going to buy a G5 but I waited decided to upgrade my PC instead and get a low end mac mini to tie me over until the intel switch.

The MacTel transition comes at a good time for me. By the time I am heading to the Engineering College (finally) it will be fall 2007, so I'll just wait to buy new technology.
