i just bought a 15" powerbook the other day and was wondering how i would install an extra 512mb. i tried the search feature on the forum but it is being unresponsive atm.

Look in your Apple User's Manual. If you don't have it handy, Apple Support lets you download them here . If your 15" PowerBook is the newer 1.67 GHz model, the instructions for adding memory begins on page 57 (chapter 4). It's very simple to do!
