Hey guys I am in a bit of dilemma. I purchased a car a couple of weeks ago and I was excited. I am going to school for my sophomore year at a University. I got an ibook so that I can surf wirelessly, but I made the mistake or getting the stock 30 gig hd. It sucks like hell having only 30 gigs and only 256 ram. I would love to upgrade to the new ibooks, but there really is no reason to go to them. I was thinking of getting the 12 inch powerbook with a dell 20 inch monitor. I had enough money from my scholarships to do it.

Since I am going to get my license is a bit, I just saw my insurance. It is 350 freaking dollars. It is way more expensive than my car payment. Iwas mad but its reality, I need insurance. Here is my problem. Due to budget constraints should I upgrade my ibook and leep it for a while. My computer store at school is apple certified and they would install my hd for 70 dollars. I would have to buy my own hd which I am thinking with going with the 80 gig 5400 rpm hd. WIth ram from crucial has the 512 for 126 and the 1 gig for 146. Are these upgrade worth it or shoul dI just tough it out? THis is almost a 350 upgrade. Plus my pc is garbage now that is needs a new mobo. lol... AHHHH darn my luck. It is all good.

Maybe I am indulging in stuff that I do not need and I should just upgrade? What do you guys think? I would need a powerful laptop especially since I am going to start doing intenrships and my strength is presentations with videos. I would like to hook it up to projectors and run video smoothly and last me for a while... =/
