Hey, I'm a College student who just pulled out a loan for a computer. I had my heart set on a new 17" 1.67Ghz powerbook with 1Gb ram on two sticks, and the 100gb hard drive. I had a few questions though. I have done pretty extensive research, and so far the only problem I can find is that the trackpad tends to have glitches that have *kind of* been addressed with Tiger. Is there anyone here who has had this laptop since April? What problems have you run into? How is the battery life with normal operation using wireless internet? Last but not least, are there any backpacks/ third party cases you would recommend, as I will be carrying this computer with me everywhere?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Thats good to hear about the trackpad, and the ad is random XP. I was asking if someone had a personal testimony about a certain brand of backpack
