Just a quickie, I ordered my pb back in feb w/ the 80gb HD, and well, that's not enough anymore. I figure if I upgrade I might as well go as big as I can. 120gb drives are out, but I dunno if they'll work, It's a clearance thing, I know. tech compatablility should be a non issue. Anyhow here's the drive I was looking at, A 5400rpm 120gb Seagate. I just wanna know if it'll work If the answer is yes, time for me to start digging out tech docs to find out how to take apart the pb to install it

I installed this very same drive (Seagate Momentus 5400.2 120GB) in my Titanium 1GHz PowerBook about 2 weeks ago, and it's great! Completely silent, very fast, has a 5-year warranty, everything I needed! (I also ran out of room with my "old" 80GB drive, with 20+ GB music, another 20GB photos, etc.)

If it works in my almost-3-year-old TiBook, it'll certainly run in yours!
