I'm going to add a 23" Apple display to my powerbook 1.25 with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, how this reduce the performance of my pb (I will use with the lid closed)? Sometimes I play some games like Sims 2 or World of Warcraft, is good to play with an external monitor?
Thanks

It does reduce the performance noticably. I have a 17" 1.33ghz powerbook and with a 23" ACD connected, the computer is more sluggish. Also certain games run slower unless you close the lid or detach the display beforehand since the computer splits the VRAM 50:50 between the monitors.
If you have the lid closed all the time, you won't notice a performance hit at all, I don't think!

Actually, the VRAM is not split 50:50. Each monitor uses as much VRAM is needed to display the entire screen at the set resolution. The higher the resolution, the more pixels on the screen, the more VRAM used for that screen.

when I check the ATI control panel, it says 32 megs for each screen. Maybe it's just being non-specific though

And Apple System Profiler says the same thing. Chances are, they're right.
