I'd like to buy a Kensington Microsaver, but I'm not sure which one to get. There's the standard, the portable, and the alarmed. Are the standard and alarmed locks, which aren't "portable," easy to stow away in a small section of a backpack? Does anyone know anything about the alarmed lock? I'm worried that the alarm might go off randomly, and if there's a chance of that, I can't buy it.

Suggestions would be much appreciated!
