I'm looking at getting a 1.25 15" AlBook that's a couple years old. It seems to work fine, but what issues are common with this model? cheers.

Best computer I have ever owned! I have not had any problems what so ever, I went into the store intending to by a 17 inch Power Book, but I after a closer look, I thought it was to big. I maxed out the ram and ordered the 5200 rpm drive, I take it with me to video shoots and make ruff cuts on it, and then finish on the Power Mac. It blows me away what I can do with video on 1inch think laptop. The only problems I have had have to do with moving to 10.4, but that’s not the PowerBooks fault. I have had more problems with my Power Mac G5. I believe the only problems with those models where “white spots” on the screen.

Just my Two cents

The only two problems I have are:

- The latch (I tried to fix it several times, but no way)
- RAM (This model seems to have difficulties to accept some RAM modules)

For the rest is a rock!
Good luck
