Hey guys, I just got my ibook back from a hard drive failure. the other thread "HD had heart attack..."

anyways, I read the "service description and parts used***" on my service details sheet and the following was on it:

Add Spiral Tubing/Install OS/Replace Hard Drive/Replace Optical Drive

I just want to know whta spiral tubing is and what is meant by replace optical drive. thanks

Not sure what spiral tubing is, but obviously they replaced your optical drive.
Go have a look to see if it's a different make/model in system profiler.
