I recently aquired a used powerbook Ti DVI for a good price, My only complaint is the palmrest above the slot load CDRW is loose where it meets the light colored edge of the case.. its kind of annoying when im typing as it has a slight amount of give under my right palm...
any ideas?

I remember that my Ti had this problem after I had opened it.
I think this happens if you don't put back the bottom carefully.
So you might have to remove the screws + bottom and see whats going on.

Yeah that´s maybe the reason. Could you post a pic of the edge in exactly the plane of the case?

looks like you need to re-glue the outer edge back. The stripping along the outside is actually just glued to the titanium. You should be able to unscrew the bottom, remove the cd drive, and glue it back in place w/ some strong epoxy.
