It's weird. I've had my iBook for 3-4 years now. Every time it crashed, I'd always use the fn-ctrl-option-cmd-shift-power button command to force it to shut down (thinking that's all it was, a force-shut-down command), until I had a problem. Every time I used this, and tried to start up from the battery, it shut off just before the gray apple icon/circle thingy boot screen. The weird thing about it is that it only started happening about 6 months ago. I went to the Apple Store and the guy said I was resetting the PMU (or was it PRAM.. I forget) all this time. Wow.
