My battery has begun that stage of low maximum power (I'm getting around 1:10 on a full charge) and I want to replace it. I was wondering if Apple's 3 year warranty covers batteries or do I have to get a new one. Also, can someone tell me where I can get good deals on batteries for a 12" PB?

Technically, no - and some Apple service techs are firm about not covering the battery under AppleCare. When that happens - call back again later, and you may get a "nicer" support tech, who'll help you get a new battery. It's worked for me! As always, be polite and respectful, not demanding and full of "attitude."
