I recently had a 400Mhz Pismo bestowed upon me by a friend who sort of "left his job with his arms full."

Nah... not nearly as bad as it sounds... he got laid off and on his last day, his boss basically told him he was welcome to take any equipment he wanted as the company had been absorbed into a larger firm that intended to transition to PCs. So, he ended up with a couple of Macs and a few PowerBooks. Not too shabby a severance.

Anyway, he gave me this Pismo which I decided to set up and give to my folks, as they have mastered the ATM machine and are now ready to tackle the next wave of the digital revolution.

It is configured with a 40GB drive, a CD/DVD-ROM, 640MB RAM. I installed Panther on it with no issues whatsoever. Tonight I decided to install Tiger and upon booting from the Tiger DVD I was greeted with an alert stating that the software could not be installed on this machine. To the best of my knowledge, I thought Tiger *would* support a Pismo (or vice-versa). Am I wrong?
Has anyone successfully installed Tiger on a Pismo?

I'm perplexed on this one. Thanks in advance for the help.

Okay... nevermind.

I'm going on very little sleep, alright? I inadvertently grabbed the install disc that came with my G5 instead of the normal Tiger disc.

All's well.

You may now begin to point and laugh at me.
