I'm using firefox on my powerbook - is there anyway to make the pdf show up in the webpage instead of forcing me to download it on my desktop and opening it with preview?

Checkout the Firefox / Preference / Downloads / File Types / Select PDF / Change Action to "Save to Disk"

This should be inside Application thread anyway.
