Can the 12 inch powerbook copy dvds to its hard drive ? I think i want to buy one. And when is the 12 inch pb update coming out i heard sometime this month.

Any machine which can read DVDs can copy them to the hard drive, using a DVD decrypter such as DVDBackup or MactheRipper.

And nobody knows anything about any Powerbook updates. Apple does not leak information.

That said, the next Apple Expo is on September 20th, and traditionally, new models are introduced at or around Apple Expos, so you might want to wait until then.

Of course, the next update could be that the 12" form factor is abandoned, altogether, so you'd be out of luck, then.
