I have a current 15" powerbook I just got a western digital usb 2.5" 80gb HD The drive lights up when i plug it but it doesnt spin up. Western Digital says the USB needs 1000 milli amps at start up does anyone know how much the powerbook is putting out? thanks for the info (btw the drive has no power supply)

Just checked the developer info for you, it is 500mA for each port.
