Just SOLD my Powerbook G4 15.2" to some people tommorow. They are coming with $2300 cash. I really want to hook myself up with a mini and save myself loads of cash. Would really help, especially with tuition fees and gas prices nowadays...anyways. What's the best value out there in either the portable world or desktop world (Mac). I don't care if it's new or second hand, but I want something I can design web pages, watch DVD's and burn CD's. Can anyone give me any advice if they have owned any particular units...if they are any good? Here are the units I am considering:

-Cube G4 (with 15" screen, speakers, mouse, keyboard, etc. (Is it worth it?)
-Powerbook G4 Titanium series. (Which are good/bad?)
-Pismo...should I downgrade this much?
-MiniMac. I am debating this like crazy. I love a machine I can upgrade...I just don't know about laptop hard drives in a desktop unit....*grumble*..)

What would be the best out of those? Like, pros and cons? One better than the other? What do you think would suit my needs the best? I need some general advice so I can narrow down my desicion. Thanks!

Just curious which Powerbook you used to scam somebody out of that much money on a used machine. A base high end new machine is $2300 so maybe you included other things that you haven't mentioned.

We generally can't read minds here, so it would help if you gave a bit more detail...
