Hi all...

I've been playing around with this 366 firewire clamshell iBook I got off eBay a couple of weeks back. Installed an airport card and it works like a charm on my wireless network at home, but when I browsed through the system profiler today (am using 10.3.9) it did not display anything under "modem" - I just wanted to check this in case I might ever needed it, you know...

When I opened up the Network preference pane it said that Airport was working and connected - 'internal modem' was there, but 'not configured'. I have no spare telephone lead to try it out yet, but given that the Network pane displayed 'internal modem' - would that suggest it's functional even though the System Profiler could not view it?

The iBook just came "as is" - no boxes, no cd's, just a power supply... (pristine condition inside too!).

Thanks for your help in advance...
