Hi everyone. I have had my powerbook for over a year. Works great. But I have a new problem in the last couple of weeks. The monitor dims before it goes to screensaver. I have the setting turned off in energy saver, and it still does it. I have restarted several times, but still doesn't work. What's also weird is that if I drag the mouse to screen saver, it will be perfectly bright, but then the screen saver will dim over time too. How do I get it stop diming against my wishes?

Thanks
-Phil

Just to confirm: you have both screen-brightness related settings set to off? There's the slider, which controls when the screen turns off entirely, and there's the checkbox for "reduce[d] brightness" which causes the backlight to turn to the lowest setting (but not off).
