airport extreme card in 2001 ibook?

hey all

my sister has a 2001 ibook, and needs to get an airport card for it. will an extreme card work?

No. Not a chance. It won't fit.

The Airport Extreme card will not work. You need the original Airport card for the 2001 iBook.

They've said it all. You can usually find original AirPort cards on eBay and such for around $70US-seek and ye shall find. Remember, that's ALL that will fit in that computer, so that's what you NEED. NOTHING ELSE will fit.

www.macofalltrades.com usually has one or two for sale, I think they're pretty reputable, but I don't have any personal experience with them.
