I have older windows 98 recently ugraded to xp home edition with files I would like to grab and put on my new 12" G4 ibook.

I dont need a network situation. I was thinking of a good mac compatable zip drive that will give me the least amount of grief if I pop a disk with windows files into it.

Meaning, taking a zip drive full of various windows files and having the zip drive connected through the Mac usb Airport extreme and putting them on my ibook. (without corruption to my ibook!)

I am in transition between an aging pc and a new Mac ibook and just want to pick and choose files from the pc without messing up the ibook or buying incompatable hardware trying to make the transition between pc to mac.

Get a USB "thumb" drive and you'll have a lot better time of it. I have a 1GB device from PNY that I keep all sorts of things on, and from the factory they are compatible with both Windows machines and Macs. Plus these things can be had for as little as $20 for a 256MB device (which holds more than the largest Zip disk, and is FASTER than any Zip drive).
