hi,

I ordered my 12" iBook last night, BTO with 80gb hdd, the code is 065-6016. Just wondering is this a Toshiba or Fujitsu drive?

I heard that Toshibas are very loud and make clicking noises(my current sony vaio with toshiba drive does that too) and sometimes I find them very annoying.

Just want the iBook to be perfect and don't want to get a toshiba hdd...

I'm switching from BSD land to mac os x.

I have the 80gb BTO and it's a Toshiba. There are no loud clicking noises though. In a perfectly quiet small room you can hear the drive, but it's no louder than any other laptop I've ever used. Don't worry about it.
