A err... S-Video cable? Your powerbook has a S-Video connector built in so this is all you need. To transmit audio as well your going to want to get a Y adapter audio cable. It has a 1/8 connector on one end that splits out into two RCA audio cables(red and white). At least this is what I have for my current set-up, and it works great. Both items can be found at Radio Shack, or something similar, for less than $10.00.

After buying and connecting an S-Video cable, I found that the image on the my 32" CRT TV seems to be a bit blurrier than on the Apple. Are there any specific resolutions for both the TV and Powerbook that I should have set?
Thanks!

For reolutions try 640x480 or 800x600 and no need to use millions of colors...thousands work fine...mirroring is not recommended...try sing them as seperate displays.

It is going to be a blurry because a TV's resolution is significantly worse than any monitor/LCD - TVs aren't designed for up close viewing so historically they have had low resolutions (HDTVs may change that, but I don't know).
You will never stop it from being blurry, but you can improve things a bit by developing a calibrated Colorsync profile for your TV (for instance, I increased the contrast and gamma to give as sharp an image as I could). When you have the TV attached, you can do this via the Displays preferences as you would for your monitor. When it comes to using it as a way of watching slideshows and DVDs, the blurriness isn't a problem, but it does make it harder to use as a second monitor for the OS.

if you have a DVI Tv it will connect through that or it is going to be blurry on anything bigger than about 26" max
