I just got a new Powerbook G4 1.67ghz 128vram 512mb of ram. I bought a crucial 1 gb stick from newegg and I'm anxious to get this sucker in there. I have a set of phillips screw drivers ranging from sizes smaller than #0 and numbers above #0 and one that is #0. I can't get these damn screws off. Am I doing something wrong? What tools should I be using? Do I turn it to the right or left? I am applying lots of pressure, in some cases what I would think would be too much pressuer to try and get the driver to keep from turning but it just keeps turning. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The screws should come out quite easily, just make sure you're turning them counterclockwise (the opposite direction a clock's hands move in).
Good luck,
Pete

screws were real hard for me as well. One of them in particular. It started stripping but I pushed down real hard and finally came off. What I did was first tried to get them all off, and when that didnt work I got upset and screwed the rest in and left. Came back a while later and started in a different order and voila. I used a combination of #0 and #00 'drivers. Just make sure you get it in and push real hard. Ha. Good luck
