I upgraded my ibook from the original 3gb to a 12gb toshiba hd, and it will not recognize the new hd, it's not there.
It will boot from the OS cd, but there is no hd to install on or to mount. I put the old hd back in thinking maybe there was a problem with the "new" drive and I get the same symptoms. I don't get it, the old one worked before, but now it doesn't.
I've zapped the pram, I've reset the pmu, I've tried booting in OF.
The other thing is I can't boot in single mode either, I don't know if that's a clue of not.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.
