I bought a clamshell 466 graphite iBook on eBay (OS9 /64 megs ram /10 gigs HD). The computer boot the system, the LCD backlight lighten but the screen stay white with no data (I can hear the HD booting the system and I can shut off the computer pushing on the power switch and return key). Booting from an installation disk gives the same result. I can see the clamshell HD if I boot in target mode with my PowerBook. I tried to connect my iPod photo AV cable from the video output of the computer to my AV TV set but nothing appears on the TV screen (maybe it's not a good cable to test the video output ???). I also tried to reset the power manager and the pram without success.

So what could be the problem ? LCD display ? inverter ? or motherboard ?

Thanks for your support....
