I recently bought a new iBook (my first laptop since a Toshiba running Windows 95 in the mid-'90s), and I have a question about its battery.
On my old Toshiba, I had to let the battery run all the way down before I could plug in the adapter and recharge it. I couldn't run it down to 35%, then plug in the adapter, or else the battery would "remember" that its charged-time was only 65% its real charge-time. Also, I couldn't unplug the charger whenever I wanted -- I had to wait until it reached the full 100% charge. Furthermore, I think I couldn't turn on the laptop when it was charging either, otherwise the above consequences would ensue.
Are any of those three described above true of the iBook G4?
Thanks!
