I know there are probably many topics on this but the search button isn't working right now and I think this is important.
Maybe once every 5 minutes, I heard a strange clicking sound from my computer. I don't know what else it could be but my hard drive. I think I read before that this means the hard drive is dying and you should back up and replace it. I'm not sure if this is the same kind of clicking sound. It started yesterday. I'm still under my one year warrantly from Apple. Will they repair my computer?
Also a couple of months ago, my computer had a problem and I sent it in and they fixed it. Although it was completely hard drive unrelated, I think they also replaced my hard drive. I didn't complain.
Here's what it said:
Product service by replacing the following:
DA, HGST MORAGA PLUS B 80GB HDD
Should I take it to a Apple store and get it fixed? I know there's some programs to run to determine if it's dying, but I can't find it on VersionTracker and the search feature here doesn't work.
edit: I just used a program called SMARTReporter and it says everything is allright... what else could this clicking sound be?
