I dont know if this is for powerbook, but i found a way to get the quicktime to go fullscreen. Try it out and see if it works for you too. If this is a repeat sorry about that.

You open up something on quicktime. Try maximizing it. It doesnt go full screen. Now, put it on normal mode. Press the cap lock key so the light stays on. Now maximize it again. Then you have a your full screen mode. Try it.

This is in no way a Powerbook question. This forum is for discussing issues that are unique to PowerBooks -- this is an application issue, plain and simple.

And no, it doing that doesn't go fullscreen, though it does make it go bigger than it normally would. Fullscreen mode gets rid of the menu bars, desktop, other windows, etc -- just the video.
