i am trying to open a dvd program on my powerbook lombard. I had a friend zip it and send it to me so that i could just open it on my hard drive since i dont have a dvd drive. I am having no luck. Can this be done or am i out of luck.

What's a "dvd program?" Do you mean a VIDEO_TS folder extracted from a DVD that you are trying to open in DVD Player (assuming OS X)? I don't recall if Lombard had the video hardware for playing DVDs. I know my old Wallstreet needed a PC card to do this. More info please.

what i meant is that it is a program that is a dvd format that will not open like you said. I want to know if the lombard can open this if i get the drivers. thanks
