Hi All

I have a Rev D 12" Powerbook

I find that most of the time, when I put my PB to sleep, by closing down the lid, the sleep light doesn't come on automatically. Once the lid is closed, i usually have to apply some pressure on the lid (the small section over the latch) to get it to turn on

Other times, pressing the actual "latch release" button inwards, while holding the screen down so it doesn't pop up, also works

I can't find anything similar to my problem on any Mac forums. However, some people who have had other sleep light problems were told to reset the PMU. Would this work in this situation? Or do i need to take it into Apple?

Resetting the PMU won't hurt. I'd try it.

I went ahead and reset the PMU, of course it is too early to tell whether it has made a difference.

However, if anyone else has any other ideas, that would be greatly appreciated.
