I just got the replacement for my defective 15 inch PB from Apple today. Deciding to load up the computer with some music, I popped in a greenday CD and the superdrive went nuts, it thrashed and made all sorts of horrid sounds, after a few minutes of this I had to turn the power off and get the CD out.
A couple of questions... wtf is going on??? Also, does that have to do with that specific CD (American Idiot) and the new dual layer superdrive in the new PBs? How fast does a song usualy import to iTunes? I'm noticing that its importing songs at about 5.5x average. Did something break? If I have to send this one back AGAIN, I swear I'm just going to break down and buy a godamn dell (not really, but it makes me feel better to say that).
