I just recently acquired a PB G3 that was running OS9.2. I inserted the OS 10.2 disk and began the install. about 43% of the way through the install just froze. I tried zapping the PRam and hitting the reset button on the back to no avail. I inserted the OS 10.2 disk and held down the C button but all I get is the folder icon that flashes between a question mark and the smily mac face. I don't have the original software disk that came with the power book but I don't know what else to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you can't boot from the CD then it doesn't sound like a hard drive problem...
