I have a broken 500mhz TiBook sitting in my closet, and I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. If you're curious, I'll post the problem with the computer below, so's not to bore you.

Are there any creative things I can do with an old TiBook with a dead logic board? I'm imagining using the screen somehow as a second monitor, or building it into a wall or picture frame or car mount or something cool like that. But, I can't find any info on how to interface the monitor outside the computer.

Or, should I just sell the computer and try to get a couple hundred bucks to pay for a new monitor? I replaced the TiBook with a Mac Mini, and I'm using a crummy old Impression 7 Plus CRT monitor.

Any Ideas would help much. Thanks.

When I began having problems with the TiBook I trouble shot every way I knew how. After pressing the power button to power up, the startup chime would sounds, the hard drive would receive power and spin up, and that was it; the backlight on the monitor would not turn on, and the machine would not start up. (listening to the hard drive showed there was no activity other than just spinning) Anyway, to make a long story short, I ended up taking the TiBook to a Mac dealer here in Tulsa and they confirmed my fears, the logic board had fizzled out. To replace that would cost something close to $600... which is much more than the machine is worth.
