rubber feet thing fell off from under my pbook, help!

sigh, not sure what happened, but i noticed my laptop slides a lot, come to think of it i'm missing 2 rubber feet things on the left side of my powerbook, anyone know where i can buy replacement ones and if its easy to put on?

When some fell off my sister's iBook, she went to the local Apple retail store, and they gave her some free one's on the spot. I don't know if her experience was unusual, but they didnt make it seem like it was that big of a deal.

Alas this happens all the time - One of the few recurring flaws in Powerbooks.

If it's still under warranty you can get Apple to refit them.

I'm pretty sure you need to remove the case to fit (official) new feet yourself.

Tried that. It kinda hit and miss sometimes they will give them to you sometimes not.


but worth a try.
With some loud music + a friend to chat nearby you can get alot done. - but jezz, I'd avoid it if I had the choice---- If only real people came with Alpha Channels.......:)

Go to an Apple retail store, don't forget to sign into their Genius Bar FIRST before you go in. You can do that at www.apple.com/retail and choose the store you want.

If they have em in stock, they'll give em to you.
