Hi Jae Coe,
First off, welcome to MacNN forums! Second, please give the search a try:

http://forums.macnn.com/77/gaming/265745/unreal-tournament-help-needed/

There is an OSX update that will let you run UT without classic mode. If you are running in OS9, check out these donloads to get the sprockets:

Have a good one.

Thanks for the help but it still is not working, when i downloaded the link and went to install it, it said ' Classic cannot find a mac os 9 system folder on the startup disk to use.' Is this because my ibook g4 is brandnew???

Yep. Don't quote me, but I think that you can install classic from the OSX install disk. It's just not enabled by default anymore. Maybe someone else can hop in and confirm for you. Anyone?

I had that problem with diablo 2 then I used the OS X installer for it. Now I have classic mode installed somehow. I really don't have any advice for your problem though

all you have to do is go into the unreal tournament .ini file and use text editor to change the resolution settings. it is normally set to something like 1280x1040 but for my new mac i had to change it to 1280x800 and everything was right with the world....

have fun
