i registered my powerbook last night, and i still havnt gotten the email to confirm it yet. ive re registered it about 4 times now and still no email

You will. I just got a second confirmation today, 5 days after I registered.

Register another couple dozen times and Apple will dispatch someone to your house to confirm your registration with a baseball bat.
