Ibook G4 Battery --> 12V ? 3.4A LCD

	I know a little about ee, but i'm trying to run an external lcd monitor off an iBook G4 battery. Anyone know if this is even possible?? I do know the LCD needs 12V DC and 3.4A. This should be an easy conversion with a regulator and some electronics? no?
