I've seen several threads about PBs randomly turning off, and lots of tips to try to fix the problem. However, my PB G4 randomly went to sleep but hasn't turned on for almost 24 hours. Before, it would wake up after 30 minutes at the most. I know its still asleep because the light is still pulsing, but I'm kind of stuck. It won't turn on, it won't shut down. Any ideas of what to do?

I have had wake-from-sleep issues ever since Tiger came out. If it was not for spotlight, I would go back to 10.3.9. I have no solution. Even a clean install does not fix the problem. It seems to related to unplugging of pluggin in the PB while it is asleep. I am sorry I have no solution, but atleast you are not alone in the problem.

Hold down the power key to force it to shut down or do a force restart with command-ctrl-power key.
